It was so fun to watch the expressions on their faces!

I would hire this family to decorate it for me!
So far, our "hillbilly party" is shaping up nicely!
Since the White's are from Boone County West Virginia I am going to bring some Boone's Farm Wine (remember that?)
Elizabeth says she promises she will not bring squirrel and Janine is bringing spam on ritz crackers topped off with cheese whiz from a can!  I may be eating before I come???  I am so ready for some fussin', cussin' and down right fun with

We'll see you Friday night, 6-9 pm, for a Hillbilly-style Potluck, a movie, and some crafty activity (the only fee will be for any materials used).

Please RSVP so we know who to be excited to see! If you'd like, you can reply to all & list what you're bringing for the potluck!  I plan to make banana pudding.  I know Vicky plans to bring chips & dip.

No Fussin' Fightin' Potluck Craft Party

 

Join me Friday night at Bella Cosa 3883 Atlantic Blvd. Bixby Knolls

We will have a craft, potluck party.  I will be playing The Wild & Wonderful Whites of West Virginia Documentary.  Be prepared to laugh your butt off.  This is for adults only.  There is sure to be some cussin' and  down home fun.  Wine will be provided.  So far we are having: Frito Pie, Banana Puddin', Chips & dip and some kind of jello dish!  I am sure our craft will also include lots of glitter.  I love this documentary and I cannot wait to share it with you too!

Lots of vintage....books, records, suitcases, glasses, sewing supplies, paper dolls, jewelry and one of a kind art.  This is a special show that they just added.  It is at Vet's Stadium this Sunday!  I made up a bunch of ephemera packets also!
I will be in the red area!  At the front!

Happy Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day I went to my friend Trace's Art Studio
As you can see the grounds were in FULL BLOOM
It was so beautiful, birds, bees, butterflies and blossoms everywhere
We even went into the studio and practiced a few dance moves
He says I just like to wiggle!
I also went to the aquarium with one of the children that I mentor
I really got in touch with Mother Nature today

Spring Break

although I did not have my camera during most of the days of our spring craft camp....... I did get a couple of pics of these darling sisters

thoughts of my friends

Today my mind goes to 3 of my friends that are no longer with me on earth~but forever in my heart!

First is Dean...he had leukemia.....when I was with him his last days I asked him what could I do for him?  He said "Be Grateful".   I am everyday! I thank him for the great advice.  I say I love you when I feel it and I appreciate everyone's friendship and love towards me.

Second is Paul.....he died of colon cancer.....when I was with him his last days I asked him what could I do for him?  He said get a colonoscopy.  I did!  I thanked him for loving me so much that he wanted me to be vigilant and care about my health.  I have tried to live a healthy life.

Third is Janet....she also died of colon cancer....when I was with her for the last time I asked her what could I do for her?  She said please keep being creative and sharing my love of teaching with others.  I also asked her when she went to heaven would she check on me? 
Without hesitation she said she would.

As I am going through my questionable health right now I think of them and how brave they were.  I am grateful, I am taking care of myself and I feel angels all around me.   Thank you to all of my friends for loving me, checking on me and caring so much for me.  You are all so special to me!

I got to see my daughter this weekend at the monster show in Hollywood
I can't say what,  but she may be doing some cool costumes for some upcoming movies......
I got to see a costume she made for a new book that will be launched at comic con this summer.
It was way cool in my humble opinion.  She is such a beautiful girl inside and out, I am so proud of her!
